March 2020 Meetings

Cancellation of Colorado Water Garden Society Upcoming Meetings/Events

As the COVID-19 outbreak evolves, the Colorado Water Garden Society is following the recommendations from the Colorado Department of Health and Environment to limit and slow the spread of the virus. While the situation changes daily, our values remain constant and our top priority is the health and welfare of our members.

This is to notify you that the Colorado Water Garden Society has chosen to cancel its meeting to be held at the Denver Botanic Gardens on Thursday, March 19th and our educational Seminar to be held at The Hudson Gardens and Event Center on Saturday, March 21st.

Denver Botanic Gardens has chosen to close its indoor and outdoor facilities indefinitely. The Hudson Gardens and Event Center has chosen to close its indoor facilities indefinitely. At this time, its outdoor gardens remain open.

We are waiting to see if the closures at Denver Botanic Gardens will continue past March. Once this information is known, we will make a decision as to whether or not we will cancel the “Get Wet” event to be held on Thursday, April 9th.

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this challenging time.
