The Colorado Water Garden Society (CWGS) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization formed in 1983 to encourage a greater appreciation and interest in the use of water in the landscape. As the first established water garden society in the world, the mission of the society is to provide education about water gardening to the general public and to stimulate the study and culture of water plants.
Members receive CWGS' newsletter, "The Water Garden", published eight times each year. Each edition contains water gardening information especially for the Rocky Mountain Region.
The Society holds meetings and activities in and around Denver from March until early December. Tha date, time, and location of each meeting are announced in the newsletter and in the Event Calendar portion of our website.
